The challenge
L’Oréal Pro wanted to raise the visual bar across these international premium digital films— better lighting, richer hair texture, tactile ASMR-style shots — all while staying true to the brand’s identity. And the shot count per day? Brutal.
The approach
From day one, we aligned closely with all partners to unlock production upgrades the brief didn’t initially account for. We deployed two directors across A and B units in parallel, and pushed for full pre-lighting and hair tests — none of it budgeted, all of it essential.
The result
These choices allowed us to deliver cinematic, high-performance visuals on a tight schedule. One of our films was featured in the official CES 2024 opening by L’Oréal’s CEO — shown live on giant screens in Las Vegas. It was the only piece of real imagery — hair, hands, product — among 3D environments and motion design.
